We understand that life happens and you may have to miss class for a variety of reasons. Please note that you are responsible for your make-ups. We rely on the "honor system" and depend on you to keep track. Please note that classes offered through the City of Orange have a separate make-up policy. Here are some frequently asked questions regarding our make-up policy:
How many make-up classes am I allowed per session?
Two make-up classes per family are permitted each session on a first come, first served basis and is subject to availability. Make-up classes are not guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate requests. Late Registrations may make-up missed classes due to late registration in addition to the standard two make-up classes.
Do I have to sign up for a make-up class ahead of time?
Yes, you MUST sign up ahead of time to attend a make-up class. Email Becky at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule make-ups.
Can I make-up classes from a previous session?
No. Make-up classes may not be carried over to next semester. Please schedule your make-up class early to avoid an "end of semester" rush.
If I know I will miss a class, should I let the teacher know?
If you know ahead of time that you will be unable to attend a class, it is appreciated if you email and let us know. We can use your spot for another make-up.
City of Orange classes make-up policy:
If you signed up for Music Together through the City of Orange, you may only attend classes offered through the city due to insurance and liability. At this time, there is only one class being offered with the city and as such there are no other offerings for make-up classes. Unfortunately, there will be no make-up classes for City of Orange participants.
Is the make-up policy the same for all sessions?
The make-up policy applies to all sessions offered in the Fall, Winter and Spring. Because of a shortened session schedule and a limited number of classes offered, there are no make-up classes available for Summer Session.
