Becky Human, MT-BC, Owner/Teacher

Becky Human is a board-certified music therapist dedicated to helping others find their voice and tell their story through music. Becky began her musical journey at a young age singing, playing piano and guitar and eventually writing her own music. She began studying choral performance at Milwaukee High School of the Arts where she also participated in musicals and composition projects. After graduating, she continued her vocal training at Grace Bible College in Grand Rapids, MI with an AA in Music.

She received a BMus in Music Therapy from Chapman University in Orange, CA, focusing on Applied Psychology in the areas of lifespan development, music and the brain. Becky completed her clinical training at MusicWorx, Inc., an internationally recognized internship site for music therapists located in San Diego, CA.  Beginning in 2008, she has provided music therapy services in a wide variety of settings including mental health, hospice, addiction recovery, older adults and memory care, cancer treatment centers and at-risk youth. She is a Remo Health Rhythms facilitator and has completed teacher training for Music Together®, a worldwide music and movement program for young children and their caregivers. In 2017, she founded StoryTree Music, a music and music therapy service company connecting generations and creating community by sharing stories through music. StoryTree Music serves families across the lifespan with music therapy services and Music Together® Mixed-Age Family Classes.
